Rodeway Inn Lake Placid South

The room was exceptionally clean, with no off-putting "old hotel" odors or "cover-up" scents. The bed was vey comfortable, with a mattress that felt like new. The hot water was hot within seconds. The room rate was very fair for the total eclipse weekend. I am not a breakfast person, so I did not partake or even observe what was offered. I did not log onto the motel's wifi, choosing to use my own mobile "hotspot."

It was close by everything we wanted to see!! 😊

+ Convenient location from main street having easy access to sightseeing places + Comfortable room and bed for a sound sleep + Complimentary breakfast is a nice addition, but can be improved

We just wwnt akiing to whitwface mountain we stayed with our two kids 10 and 12 it was good after day skiing we went in tge pool and used jacuzzi it was clean. Rooms were fine we stayed 4 nights hotel is avout a mile away from tge town you gotta drive town is cute a lot to do. Mountain is about 20 mims away.

These people were so attentive and easy to work with. Even the few little issues were addressed quickly and the staff was so good with our littles. Didn’t seem bothered at all by them needing to talk to them every time they saw them.
